Just got myself a Juwel Trigon 350 and have decided to remove the internal juwel filter, however I still want to use the heater. The only problem is that the heater is automatically set up to a temp of 28 degrees, I need it slightly colder than that for my Lake Malawi Mbuna's.

Ive had a look at the heater and there is a dial on top of it with no numbers just a + and a - ?

Anybody give me any direction on how to set it up correctly?

Yeah mine has a temp on it, but its not correct!! Its set for 28/29 but only get 25 from it at that temp, so its a case of lower it slowly and see when it reaches the stable temp your looking for.

I have a black one. The dial turns the thermostat DOWN as you turn it clockwise . So cooler means clockwise. its the only heater out of my seven that is that way round but then thats juwel for you-whatever next, non standard lamps from juwel!
