Just me again.

I’m old fashioned and I do boil my driftwood. None of mine has broken down and some have been in tanks for several years. Maybe it depends on the wood or the type of water you have. Mine leans on the high soft side. :)

I do not suggest boiling driftwood, as it breaks down the wood fiber.

I didn’t look at the whole list, I just skimmed. But all the names are very common and are safe. (Most good, informative sellers like that will have a little something under the description of the rock, saying if it will affect pH, and stuff like that)

You can give me the name(s) of the rocks you want to get, and I’ll do some research on them, to see if they are safe. :)

I am thinking something like this would look good with the theme I am trying to do. Says nothing about effect anything apart from adding a little calcium? What's you're thoughts?

Mine is on a soft side too, so hopefully! It's all a learning curve.

Fossilized wood is OK for tanks. Some people argue its not, because there may be some crystalline formations that may break down. But I personally believe it is. :)

Could you advice on anything that looks similar that would do the same job? Wanting to get everything ready for next week! Full week off work to give this a good go!

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions that look similar to fossilized wood. :/
