Hi all,
You may or may not remember all the problems I have had recently with fish dying for what appeared to be no apparent reason.
I have followed advice given to me on this forum about %age water changes to help rid the tank of ammonia and nitrite (this has now cleared up)
The main problem was a fish I introduced to the tank which turned out to be contaminated with something and passed it onto the existing fish in the tank. The pet store replaced ALL the lost fish.
I would like to say a big thanks to Cheese Specialist and jams.alaskan for their help and advice through the personal message system. With their advice and others who have replyed to my posts I have finally managed to sort out the major problems although I have had a recent problem with White Spot but have cleared this now with the White Spot treatment which I purchased from my local store.
I have now got in my tank 3 ornaments 1 big one in the middle which has an airstone with it and 2 smaller ones to each side of it. Several plants (live) at the back of the tank so that my fish have somewhere to hide. 1 Fluval 3 filter and an undergravel mat.
