I like the fact it has an alarm but chances are you wont be anywhere near it to hear it when it goes off...

it looks more like an industrial fridge/freezer thermometer,not like one for a fish tank! LOL
you are obviously i very gadget minded person with all its functions

nice bit of kit. providing it is accurate it knocks, the spots off a spirit item, and makes those LCD things look as stupid as they are. let us know how you find it!
i have two "commercial" thermometers, whilst they are more accurate than most shop bought items, they also cost close to £100 each. an investment that, for most of us, is not worth while. they cost £30 every year, or so, to be calibrated too. lol they both spend 99% of the year in a draw, but i find that for that 1% they are invaluable.

Im kind of liking it for the BIG screen, nice and clear. At least if im in bed at night and their is a power fail or it blows, i can hear the temp alarm.
