hello to all who read this,

first a short story though...

the date was the 18th of Feb, we (my family, mum,Guy,my brother and i) went to Bridgemere water gardens, looked around and entered the Fish section, and ended up with a tiny 20 litre(4.5 UKG) tank for my brother...

now seeing as the only fish we have had were two goldfish in a plastic tank when i was 8 (god bless speedy and goldie) and the 9 gold fish in our out door pond which are now about 4" long now, i thought id better learn the basics quick. After repeatedly going on this forum as a guest i thought i might as well join...

as my member info says im 16, last year of High school, live in Hartshill in stoke on trent,
my interests are reading fiction, watching movies with friends, listening to music,

i can do basic scuba diving upto a depth of 22ft ish :*), trained in Turkey and saw the most wonderful fish including a huge Gooper (?!?) and squid, ive also scuba dived in bornio/qula lumpa and in an english quarry (caperwray)

i think thats more or less it so any infomation and help would be much appriciated

Luke

Hi
Welcome to the forums.
Dont be embarrassed about only being able to dive 22ft as its 22ft deeper than I can dive :)

thank you and im already enjoy reading the threads and have learnt much over the past few days

btw my mistake i can go to 20m not ft, but its still not much compared to diving standards

Welcome to TFF, you seem like a nice guy and I hope you learn alot on here, I certainly have and i'm only 13. I'm starting this hobby while i'm young, therefore when i'm older I have lots of experience and can handle situations alot easier. I hope you settle in easily and i'm sure you will make plenty of friends! I've never been scuba diving before but i've snorkled in the sea of Turkey, and under the sea they have some great fish that swim in schools of about 200, and they also have some really good caves and nice rocks underwater! I hope to see you on the forum a bit, if I see you I will say hello.

Well, hello and welcome! :hyper:

:hi: to the forums! I love to dive too, don't go often but love it. I live in Wisconsin, near no ocean and don't travel much so I don't get to dive, oh well, at least I have my fish to cheer me up. :D :D :D :D :D :D

P.S. Darkerwhite2: I am in high school too, MY SOPHMORE YEAR BABY YEAH!
