Jumped The Gun And Bought An Angel

so yesterday I went to the largest selling aquarium in Texas.

It was amazing. Awesome. astounding. They had literally everything for cheap. Well, the cheapest you see it. I bought new lighting... a new plant... and... a guy that was in the planted tank. A Marble/Koi Vieltail angelfish.

I don't foresee any problems, and there hasn't been much of one yet. He doesn't nip the plants or the eels and he's real peaceful. But the portholes have become 10 fold more active in the new light, probably due to the new spectrum, and once in a while will come up and almost... just explore him and poke him. And he'll run away just a bit. But he doesn't quite retaliate.

Lovely thing he is but what owner doesn't love his own fish

Opinions? Suggestions? worries? compliments? all are welcome.
A read on male or female would help too.

Personally i`m not to keen on the veil tails they just don`t look natural, but he is a pretty fish.
you`l not find out what gender he is untill he/she decides to spawn as there is no diffrence between the males and females

nice angel congats......it seems to be impossible to sex them until they get there breeding tube but there is some people who say about the way the lips go bottom over lapping top<male>top overlapping bottom<female>if you look head on female seems more fatter male slender<this is from a tropical fish book......but i find it impossible anyway unless your intending on breeding them i wouldnt worry there great fish,, and i notice you said he so thats good enough for your mind hehe could be a tomboy

from what iv heard the males body is more rounded than a females, but i could b wrong.
i only have 2 angels and they are in seperate tanks as one kept nipping at the other, both of them have rounded bodys so are male according to this theory. and very beautiful angel, mine arent the vail tail kind but love them just the same, even tho when together the are like bickering children.

Nice angel Gank good to read the portholes are more active my globes to powerful for my 32 gallon it made my cories flick on the sand until I moved it away and they stopped (haven't done it since...need new globe).
