Jerry's new favourite food...

I got hungry a few minutes ago so I went to make myself some 2 minute noodles -they're the only food I can cook. While I was eating, I noticed something red darting around Jerry's tank, and realised it was him! He was dancing and flaring like mad - for the noodles!

What weird things do your bettas flare at?

Vespasian flares at anything. Literally. Well, apart from deco inside his tank, but anything else

Mine like to flare at the most randomest of things like the webcam. They are all calm and sleepy when the cat is pawing at the lid of their tank, but whoa, that webcam that is several feet away and not moving!! I tried covering it up, and they all calmed down after that, but the second I uncover, it's flare time!

the weird thing i noticed once, was my boyfriend and i were sittingon the floor, kneeling in front of the fish tank, and mortimer swam over to see us, not unusual, stayed looking at us, thenmy boyfriend hugged and kissed me, and mortimer started flaring. we thought it was jealousy hehehe

None of mine flare at anything strange. Just eachother and occasionally me Falsey wont flare at anything - He just wiggles and dances at me. My boyfriends boy, Zell, flares at EVERYTHING... He seems to particularly enjoy flaring at Coka Cola cans, as I tend to set them by the tank
