my juwel had t5s but i added 2 more. all you do is attach the tube holders then attach the the tubes and you are done. the tube holders just screw in.

ok that sounds easy enough.. on another note new tank gets delivered tomoz yay . but need to wait till trop set up goes before i can get my salty adventure underway. so for now i am looking at stock ideas and doin my fishy research

yeah, its very very easy, 2 clips/brackets per tube each using 2 screws to attach them. clip the tubes into the brackets when youv screwed them to the lid. attach the push fit cables either end of the tubes, plug it in and away you go. the only thing you could do wrong is attach the cables the wrong way round but the unit clearly shows where they need to be.

well its here. yay and its a rio 300 but man its huge compaired to my 150l. so its sitting in my bedroom waiting for my tropicaltank to vacate the living room. it has just the 2 t8 bulbs. so now for the pics

well today i have had to have a rethink about where tank is goin to go as floor joists run wrong way where i wanted to put it. so now thats sorted. so today i have bought my test kits. yay. went for api tests. so power heads r next on my list. i no i need 7000lph min.. is there such a thing as to much flow?

I felt the same when my tank arrived, once I got it out the box and set it up I thought "Im sure it didnt look that big in the shop" my wife now complains that the tv looks to small next to my tank, oh well better get a bigger telly then

yeah well its a funny story the tank was in acorn pets reduced to £500 so i had been keeping an eye on it. so finaly my mum sed she would get it for me till i could pay her back. so off she trotted to the shop and sed i was the rio 300. so the girl rang it up and it came up as £304. so needless to say my mum payed quickly and left incase the girl in the shop had made a mistake. so got tank and stand for £304. which i thought was a good deal
