Java moss is imo :D a great plant. Its easy to look after, almost imposable to kill and when kept in check looks wonderful.
As you can see from my sig i have a fair bit in my 120L. You just tie it on and wait and wait. Its pretty slow growing. Once its established you just trim it like hair. I clean mine by ruffling my fingers through it when i do my water changes as debris can get caught up in it.
 
have any of u got any spare only small bits would do i am in derby i would pay P&P i just thought i would ask.

Maidenhead Aquatics in Findern (about 10 / 15 mins from Derby centre) have some very good java moss at the moment, I think it was around the £2.50 mark for a good sized pot of it.
