Java moss is imo 
a great plant. Its easy to look after, almost imposable to kill and when kept in check looks wonderful.
As you can see from my sig i have a fair bit in my 120L. You just tie it on and wait and wait. Its pretty slow growing. Once its established you just trim it like hair. I clean mine by ruffling my fingers through it when i do my water changes as debris can get caught up in it.
