Hi

I recently bought a small piece of Java Moss and attached it with glue to my bogwood. It is stuck onto a nice flat part. It is the first time I've done this and I have used too much glue. There are 2 small bits that show up white under water. I figured it will grow and cover the white bits.

It's only been a week or 2 since I put it in the tank and it doesn't look good. It looks very dull and lifeless and I don't think it has grown at all. I have another piece of established java moss which is attached to a cave and it looks great compared to the new bit. It is bright green and just looks alive.

I use Neutro T daily. 5ml, going into 90L tank. I have other plants which look ok. Does anyone have any advice on the java moss?

Thanks,

David

It might be due to using to much glue, It might have killed the java moss.

Hi

I was just wondering that too. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, what do I do? I guess it won't be easy to remove.

David

Just leave it, itll bounce back given time. Moss is harder to kill than you think. Just give it time to recover.
