Java moss doesn't require much light at all. Kept in a bright room, out of direct light of course, and it may do OK. Worth a try I think.

I think it should be fine. If your room tempature is ok, (warm enough) than it will be fine.

Moss isnt that temp dependant. I wouldnt worry. I have cuttings growing in my small 3 gallon which is unfiltered and un heated and they do fine.

It varies EXTREMLY, from under 15C at night to over 35C! So quite a bit!

Deffinately not guppygrl, its just some have different experiences than others. No one knows all, and no one is "correct 100%"

back to the original post, my java moss also copes with poor light, so room light should be no probs either!
