i dont think java moss tolerates high temp for extended periods of time ? the local planted peeps here have a hard time keeping it green and alive during the summer my tank averages at around 31-35 deg all day :) and its brown.. really brown haha :p i hope somebody has a really warm tank with healthy java moss :) id like to disprove myself and have hope for tying moss to my rocks again :)

i left a container filled with java moss on my window sill for over a month in direct light, changing temps, etc and it was perfectly fine

did not keep an eye on the temp, but any given day after the sun had been beating down on it it was much warmer than my aquariums to the touch

ok my room tanks stay at about 80 all the time and when i say betta jars i mean jars for my baby bettas (i dont keep adults in those cruel things) :p thanks for the info everyone
