Java Moss And Moss Balls Pics And Advice

Im going to be buying some moss balls for my tank as they look quite good and i have fish that can nibble on them...

ive heard about java moss but never really seen it...

has anyone got any pictures of it...and how exactly does it work as ive read its more like a carpet and you can make it grow on certain things...

so just wanted to know a bit more about it as i have some bogwood and some pebbles and rocks and even a cave that will be going in my tank...and im sure this java moss could look good maybe growing on some of the things or even as a carpet or something etc...

any pics and advice would be great !!

yes, you can make java or christmas moss grow on things like bogwood. GEt the clean peice of bogwood (etc) put the moss on top of it, and then put something like a hairnet on top the moos and wood. Make sure its not too tight or too loose. It will take a while for the moss to cling on to the wood, but when it has remove the hairnet (etc) and thats it. it looks good.

i would wait about 1-2 months. after a month you could check it by giving it a little pull to see if its stuck. It may take a bit longer.

Super glue works too. Obviously let it dry first before placing it in water. I soaked mine in a bucket of water for two nights before putting in back into a tank

that works, but i would let it join to the wood naturally
