Jack Frost Kissed My Bettas!

Ok so I woke up this morning to a freezing appt, a few of my windows were open, including the one's where my two Betta's tank was. They aren't moving, but their little gills & fins are going, is there any way I could get them to warm up without shocking their system??

You really should have a heater in there!! What size is the tank? Do you have a larger water container so you could surround the tank with warmer water to gradually heat the water up? Poor lil things

Add some salt to there bowls if you only have betta in there.
Get a heater very important.
Let the water warm up on its own as you will shock and stress the fish if you add warm water.

They are totally fine and totally alive and back to being perky
I just basically closed the windows, turned the heater (apt heater) to 80
and did a water change.. I know I could have shocked them to death with the temp.
But I made sure the water wasn't too hot or to cold. I also kept my eye on them.

Their doing well!
