I've been doing water changes and aqua vacs and nothing has changed.
Should I either tear it down and clean everything and let it dry.... or keep close eye out on them and let them co-exsist with fish?
I mean, they are suppost to be harmless.....(thinks to self, "or are they?")

Bugger, I think I have just posted about these critters, I am on day 7 of a new cycle from from a dry tank (2 months empty) and spotted 4-5 today - well I think this is them 5mm long like a piece of cotton floating around squiggling.

what about vinegar, a friend used to manage a local petstore and he always claimed that filling a tank partially with vinegar while running the filters would kill off parasites. ive never done it myself but it is fish friendly and it will cleen everything at the same time

Really, I may try it. But Im really not sure if they are even parasites. I know some types are, but I have the common ones you find in the gravel, on tank glass....ex
And for that matter, Im not sure of how much vinegar to add to a 55 gallon?

At this point I may just very well try it!
