i am getting better at identifiying them can i mix peacocks and mbuna??? all fish stores over here are the same you see all get there stock from the one company its getting a little easier for me majority are peacocks and mbuna thats why i ask if they can be mixed should i steer clear of haps?
 
I would only mix peacocks with the mildest mbuna species, like yellow labs, P.Acei, P.Saulosi and I.Sperengerae. The rest are too aggressive for peacocks IMO.
 
No way, they grow over a foot long, way too big for your tank. :/
 
got ya so im going to get a selection one thing i bought a fluval 305 today for extra filtration so it will handle the overstocking i also got a spray bar what way would it be best for me to have the holes facing i have them angled partly down as my internal powerhead is pointed up
 
i was only checking its hard when your in a shop working out in a tank full of african cichlids which ones are mbunas
 
The best position for the spray bar will be whatever successfully agitates the water surface.
 
well my power head is aggetating the surface so where should the holes on my spraybar face also i was watching some malawi today and if you run your hand up the glass they chase it do all do this as i thought it was quiet cool.
