Not a problem R3GG.........apology excepted with open arms.

Kent........ -_- I didn't understand your post really :*) kind of though........

...................................

Most people here would jump at the chance to agree with me about my - eh-hem - over sensitivity sometimes, I admit it........ I know some of the guys especially probably don't understand how someone could cry over a fish, but I suppose I can explain it like:

I smile when I see them.......

I am joyed to watch them swim and dance........

It's fun and educational for me and my family to be priveliged enough to keep another species like this in our house.......

They need me to survive in the world I've created for them..........

Not to mention it has taken quite a pretty penny to care for them lately.........

I really cared for the little guys the best I could and then I go and get some STUPID medicine and kill them off..........I just feel a little down........and my large one may miss it's mate........

:-(

Thanks everyone for saying such kind things. I've never even met you guys and I feel like you part of my "family" :*)

 -- smooches --

Alright Silver.

Sorry to hear about these poor fish. I personally dont feel this way when my fish die. But i did shed a tear (cry like a baby) when my hampster died so i know what its like.

:D

Hi DG!!

I guess it was more of an "I feel bad for the fish" type of deal more than "Oh I miss him so much"............ :/

;)

You know that light blue fish in my sig, he pegged it last month. Got stuck between some rocks and was attacked by the others. As you say, i feel bad for the little guy (well he was about 4.5").

BTW i was about 12 when Rodent the hampster died (incase you thought it was recent :) )

You haven't cried for an animal SINCE THEN!??

What kind of a human ARE YOU!???

JK!!

Actually, I wasn't sure when it took place :dunno:

;)

BTW, have you gotten back into the hobby?? Any new fish pictures you'd like to share with an old friend :hey: :D

????

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how you feel when my reddevil died I was pretty broken up. I just couldnt bring myself to get another one. It felt like I would be trying to replace him, which I never could. So Im doing a community tank full of angels and sort of small fish. By the time I get my 100 and its all set up, I might go for some huge fish again. But that will be a while. :-(

I'll take some pics for you when i get back home :)

Sorry to bombard you with questions when your grieving , but, what did the fungus look like?

The reason I ask is that I have 2 Silver Dollars and they are getting pretty big now and one has some grey spots on his dorsal fin. Is this normal?
