We just came home after visiting our new LFS (only an hour away instead of two) and my little trili has no more mouth fungus! The big "cotton ball" on his mouth is G.O.N.E. And he's zooming all over the tank instead of lying on the bottom.

My question is, is it safe to put him back with his tank mates?


Another question, after using Melafix and antibiotics for a week, is my filter media a goner?

Anyone know if it's safe to put him back with his buddies? I hate to leave him in the Q tank one more night.

With many ailments it's best to continue medicating for a few days after you last see symptoms. To be safe, I'd leave it QT'd for at least a few more days. Think long term health over short term
