I have a 6.5 gallon tank and I want to add some snails to it.
Ph: 7.0- 6.5
Ammonia: 0.0
Nitrite: 0.0
Nitrate: 0.5 - 0.10
Tank mates: crowntail betta (non- aggressive), a pair of Breeding Corydoras

It's big enough for snails but not for Corydoras. And if you want to breed fish, you don't have snails in the tank because snails eat fish eggs.

Ok thanks I’ll look into getting them a new home. Do you know how many Nerites I could put in? (Dotted and zebra, maybe racers)

Possibly 2, or 3? I wouldn’t get that many, because you already have the betta, not to mention the other snails. The good thing about Nerite snails, is that they don’t breed in freshwater water. They may lay a TON of eggs, (By the way I said TON, you can I tell I have, uhh....experience with such matters! ) but the eggs will not hatch. :)

Nice! :)

Make sure to keep us posted, and make sure to post pics.!! :p
