Is This Tank Overstocked?

I am planning on buying a roma 240, 240 liter aquarium with a fluval 305 filter. It comes with quite a few fish but i need to add my own and i can not help thinking it seems to be an awful lot of fish for this size tank. Anyway after my fish move in it will have:
2x Congo Tetra - 2.5ins
3x Rainbow fish - 3ins
1x Denison's Barb - 4ins
3x Blue Tetra - 1.25ins
3x Bleeding Heart Tetra - 2.5ins
2x Plecos - 3ins
7x Green swordtail
1x male Betta
2x Pearl Gourami
Is this too much. Currently i have 7x Green swordtail 1x male Betta 2x Pearl Gourami in a just under 2 foot tank and they seem alright even though that is well overstocked.
What do you guys think?

Not 100% sure about the stocking level but that's a bit of a crazy combo!

Tetras need to be in groups of six or more.

Denison barbs get big and are very skittish.

If the plecos are common plecs they will get HUGE.

Swordtails get to 4 inches ish and are fast swimmers so they're definitely squashed in a 2 footer.

I think you'd need to look at re-homing quite a few of those fish if you bought that tank.
Can you not wait for something that comes empty?

You should ideally have multiple Dennison barbs (a school of at least 3). It is unfair to the fish to keep him/her alone

Ok so what would you do. I suppose i could sell some of the fish but what ones? And is it overstocked?

I would pick one or maybe two of these to add to, and look to re-home the rest if possible; they are all quite substanstial sized fish that need to be in bigger groups if not to be either shy or skittish.

I'd want to get those identified; they may be ok, but if they're commons or gibbis, you'll need to rehome or ugrade within the next year or two, even though they're small now.

I'd want to get those into a bigger tank; especially the pearl gouramis, which can be 4 inches/10cm. Having the betta and the gouramis is a bit risky as well, IMO.

sorry to sound so negative

I have had the betta around the gouramis for over a year now and they are ok with it. The betta puffs out his face at them now and again but the gouramis are getting bigger and are starting to hold there ground. He doesnt nip them or anything though just gives up after a bit.
If you had to pick, what fish would you keep? I have never had an of them before and would not know. Once i kept them how many more of each would you buy?

If they're ok together then that's fine; it's just something to keep an eye on

I think I'd keep the congos and either the rainbows or the Blue tetras, if they're blue emperors, and get rid of the bleeding hearts and the denison barb.

Then I'd get 9 or a dozen of each.
