I never thought of googleing it - doh!

Right, I'm heading to the kitchen to do the spinach thing and leave it over night. I've just turned the lights out on the tank now so if I sneak some in they might have a go during the night

the spinach was a bit finely chopped but I put a bit in, it sunk to the bottom and one of the Oto's went straight up to it and so did my corys. Thanks for that Soybean, if it's all gone by morning I'll do that more regular

my internet has been down all morning so this is the first opportunity I've had to give an update.

There was a small amount of spinach left this morning but they keep going and having a pick at it so I've decided to leave it and see what happens. I'll be going shopping next week so I'll look for a courgette whilst I'm there and try that aswell. I've not seen the Oto skimming across the water today so far but there is still time. I've still got the camara ready and I'm hoping to be able to post a picture at some point

I'm already looking for a 2nd hand 4ft tank with cabinate ... it will mean getting rid of some furnicture but I don't care all that much

When I had otos they used to do this. I thought they were just grazing algae caught in the surface tension. Never thought they were dead as they used to whizz back and forth.
