I got some Mollies about a week ago. I've noticed this Molly is a bit chunkier than the others. She doesn't seem to be getting any larger however. Does she look pregnant to you guys? How long does she have left?

Thanks.

Also I've heard various opinions on how to care for the mom and fry. If you could put your opinion about whether I should keep them in the main tank, put them in their own tank, or get a breeding box that would excellent.

She is definitely ready to give birth soon by the looks of things, breeder boxes stress them out but it looks like you have other fish in the tank that will probably eat the fry so another cycled tank is your best bet to save them.

Would a divider work with a Betta on the other side? Or would that be too stressful? Otherwise I only have a 1.2g tank that I use as a hospital tank.

If the divider hasn't got large enough holes or gaps that the fry can get through then it should be fine, place some floating plants at the top, if you have live plants hornwort or cabomba is good otherwise plastic will do, just somewhere the fry can hide from mum as she will try to eat them if she can catch them, once she has finished you can place her back.

Thanks so much!
