I found this brick in the garden and wanted to cover it with some of my excess java moss. Ive boiled it and given it a scrub with a wire brush, will it be okay for my tank?

Im also worried about my clown loaches swimming into the wholes and getting trapped, theyre only very small at the mo (about 1.5 inches)

Stock list:
8 Neons
2 Rummy's
2 Guppies
2 Clown Loaches
1 BN Plec

The shiny thing on the brick is a pound coin i've placed there for size comparison. What dyou think guys?

give it a good soak in old tank water, this type of brick is porous, but i see no problems.

No problems if it is an old clay brick. If it is a modern concrete brick it will drive your pH higher. That is not a problem if you are keeping african cichlids but might be a problem for other fish.

Pretty sure its a clay brick so no worries there, what about the fishies getting stuck? The loaches mircaulously managed to wriggle inside a bit of bogwood once, so theyve got previous!
