LFS said their locally bred galaxy rasboras would be retailing at 3.95
apparently they are not prolific breeders and supplies will remain limited for some time, I wouldn't mind trying to breed them if I can get hold of some.

i know someone who sold 5 on ebay for£15.

theres also a for sae thread in the classifieds for home breed ones but there sold. might be worth checking the price.

Hi I think my LFS calls them Firework Rasboras (or Celestrial Pearl Danios) and they want to charge £3.95 @ or £20 for 6.

I would like them but I think they are over-priced. The LFS has about 200 in a 15"X12" and apparantly they are not difficult to bred so 6 for £10 would seem a far more realistic charge IMO.

I've seen them for 2.95 and 2.50 in 2 different LFS near me.

I asume their cost will depend on how many breeders there are in your local area, you could always move to Leicester

saw some tank breds for £4.50 this weekend, v small and not in the best condition IMHO so I think there's quite a bit of varience.

I wouldn't mind paying £3.95 providing the fish are in v good condition

yeah these were also VERRRRY small, not seen such young fish before (apart from when my danios used to lay eggs).....they still had a week or 2 of quaratine left on them too, so they weren't for sale yet.....seems 3.95's a good price then.....having trouble deciding between galaxy rasboras and praecox (dwarf neon) rainbowfish :( both about same price!
