Is My Tank Suitable For An Oscar?

my 60 gallon is currently empty and cycled, (i used mature media)
i would like to get 1 tiger oscar, i see that it is 55 gallon minimum for an oscar, would i be able to house one and if i can, what would be any good tank mates for it?

In a word... No. What size is your tank? 60x18x18 would be needed eventually, i.e. when the fish is around 7-8 inches.
