Is My Gh Good Or Bad

Hi I have a gh of 180 and it says caution on the test strip

A gH of 180 is in the range of moderately hard - hard, this is not too bad, though that largely depends on what type of fish species you keep or want to keep.
 
That level should be fine for a lot of fish species, just avoid having species that like soft or very hard water.
 
Have you tested the ph?
 
Would suggest you test this, best way is to have a glass of tap water and leave alone and then test the water after 24 hours.
 
BTW test strip kits tend to be inaccurate, better with a liquid based test kit, for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph. You can also get separate tests for gH and kH or can find general hardness on your local water authority online.
