a few weeks ago my female betta swelled up like a balloon and pineconed, I gave her dropsy med's, then anti parasite meds just in case the symptoms were from a parasite she ingested. I also fed her less.

Here she was about a month ago

Here she is today, is she a good weight? She hardly poos, if she does it comes out in tiny round balls, is that normal?

She looks alot better, so thats positive. Although she still doesnt look the picture of perfect health though. Keep her water well oxygenated and perhaps do 10% every day. Offering her small amounts of food perhaps twice a day is advisable, although if after 2/3 minutes she hasnt eaten, or whats left to be eaten take out.

She's certainly on the right track by the looks of it.

Oh wow ^^ Congrats on managing to get her to this stage :good: She looks so much better now ^^ Hope she continues to improve for you :D

She looks loads better. I can't believe they can actually swell up that big. I'd keep on feeding her only small amounts, and pea as well if she's not pooing much.

Why doesnt she look in picture perfect health? I see nothing wrong?

her fins look weak but then that maybe how she looked in the first place.

doing a good job there :good:

Her fins compact as she swims, as to be more streamline. When she is still all her fins are wide open.

she looks 100%. cheers for a job well done :hyper:
he fins look fine to me. i see no raggedness or thinness or pinholes. i think folks are referring to her "uneven" rays esp. on her anal fin. to be honest, looks like thats just how they grow. i wouldnt worry at all about the fins.
it may be helpful to state what you did for treatment to help her out. someone else may find it useful, without having to dig up the other thread.
she looks perfect body condition and absolutely not bloated. and yes, round poos are classic betta poop. more like plops than poo
thanks for sharing. its nice to see a "sick" betta recover every once in a while.
cheers
