Hey I have 4 Angels, and wanting to go down the route of other Cichlids but wanted them all together rather than getting rid of my angels, just wondering what would be good with them?

I've got a 180ltr tank, with 4 angels, 4 corys and 4 honey gouramis. Cheers

180 liters might be a bit tight for 4 adult Angels so thats probably something to consider as well....

In that tank there are a lot of Cichlids that could work with the Angels - the obvious combos would be dwarfs like Apistos, Bolivian Rams or Cupid Cichlids maybe? Laetacaras are also nice :)

Also I would up the Cories and watch out for aggression towards the Gourami from the Angels as the Angels will stake out territory in the upper levels of the tank.

I've had them in the tank for about 6 months now all together and been fine, but will keep and eye on them.

I do like Apistos so that might be a good shout, and look into upping the cories:)

Would none of the bright coloured ones be any good with what I have?

Going to guess that you mean Africans by the bright coloured ones and no sorry they need quite a specialist set up - and a bigger tank than you have atm.

With the Angels - problems could kick off when they get to about a year old or so.

ah right ok, cheers then. Will have a look round see if anywhere local sell someone of those Apistos

Apistos are expensive and need special care, you are better off going for Bolvian Rams.

I went for 1m 2f Bolivian Rams and some cherry barbs. Cheers
