I was just shopping around on the internet for some plants and found a site that seemed to be pretty reasonable and i figured id give it a try so i loaded my shopping cary with 4 banana plants, 2 java fern, 1, ricca fluitians (on rock), and i patch of four leaf clover (cant remeber name) and total came to about $45 can after shiping $25 do you think this is reasonable?

Thanks and btw the site was... AquariumPlants.com
looked good but im a bit sketchy on the idea. Plus im in canada and this is the first shop with a canadian distrubution branch so kudos to them for that

Thanks

I dont have any experience with them but I have purchased plants from the seller aquadisestore on ebay and my java moss and Vallisneria Spiralis both came in great condition. They are the cheapest I have ever found on the web, or in stores really either. Free shipping to the US and I would imagine they would give you a pretty good deal being in canada too.

many ppl have bot plants online and liked it but some had bad experiencev buying it from ebay

Well it really depends on the seller and you are always going to have the occasional plant that doesnt make it through shipping. If you get a reliable seller that will back up their product it shouldnt matter where online it comes from

Ive found plants Ive bought over the internet arrive in better condition and better value than a lot Ive found my LFS. If you find a place that specialises in plants then chances are they'll know what they are doing. Thats not to say there isnt a slight risk you'll get sent crap, but thats like anything you buy over the internet. Ive bought plants from a number of online retailers and ebay sellers and haven't had a problem.

I've purchased plants from aquariumplants.com on a couple of occasions. The most recent was about 3 weeks ago. They were shipped in sub-freezing temps and arrived in great condition. (you need to specify overnight shipping.) You also need to be sure you are home when they are delivered or have them shipped to your work.

Here's a pic of some of the plants I just ordered. This is what they looked like in my tank after one week:
