sorry if this is old news but would really appreciate some views.im having a 3d background made up which will hide all my tubing etc,i have asked the makers to create a inlet hole for strainer in the bottom left back corner about 2/3" above what will be the gravel section and the outlet hole in the top right corner.i will be using a spray bar slightly submerged and pointing up to create good surface movement, this will be flowing from right to left across length of tank and cover the width of tank.i think this will create good circulation around the whole tank? my tank will be 260l measuring 38x24x19 (lengthxheightxwidth).i intend to use a bubble wall inthe middle of tank so areation should be good and also i will have a Co2 set up(proflora 401 set)for plants(not heavily planted).filter i will be running is a tetratec 1200 ex.top covering of substrate will be gravel with sand areas and some slate features.look forward toall of your helpful views

There is always a new angle to this question, and yes it has been asked before.
Observations
1. The bubble wall is not going to add much to the oxygen in the tank but will definitely promote good water circulation.
2. The return line being near the surface will give you a good gas exchange location, thus optimizing the oxygen in the water.
3. I like the idea that you are going across opposite corners with your water flow. It may not be a perfect arrangement but it should definitely be a good one.
4. Be careful using CO2. I lost every fish in one of my tanks by having a runaway CO2 system. It worked great for me for months before that incident.
