Information On Leopoldi Angelfish

If it was my tank I would have the Angels and some Cories and that would be it. You have a lot of fish in there. The Ellioti are too big imo.

The long plant looks to be Elodea. It should cause too many issues but I would prune it anyway.

Not the plecs too? I really like the 3 i have :(
Yeah i know the Ellioti will get too big but shes only 2.5' atm and i was going to move her on anyway.
Wouldn't some barbs be good for the angels to chase when they get annoyed?

Yeah i was going to prune it anyway and replant the trimmed bits. grows like 2-3cm a day :S

What Plecs are they? The problem with Plecs is that they LOVE fish eggs. They're usually very tough cookies that the Angels won't be able to fend them off.

Dithers are usually a great idea but its such a confined space that they may be attacked without the opportunity of an escape.

I'm not sure mate. You should be able to get a feeling as to whether you can stock tankmates or not and if so, which ones...

The plecs i have are a bn, clown and an L048. none of which were any bother when my Ellioti were breeding as none of the eggs were eaten every time they laid them.

I might try with 4 - 5 of the barbs and if it goes bad then il get rid. might have a placid pair of angels :L

My lfs have a 70l tank, lights, hood, heater and filter for like £45 - £50 cos they got them in bulk so i might get one of those and put the barbs n that in as its nearly 2ft wide but like only 30 odd cm tall, then i can use it to raise the baby angels :)

Just bought a breeding pair of Leopoldi and a male and female blue Philippines angel for £50 :p gota pay the 2 instalments then there mine :D il put pictures on when i get them. there all quite small atm hence i got all 4, then il probably sell the Philippines when they grow :)

Thanks again for all the help guys
