Literally...and I'm sick of it.

I used Tetracycline in my 10 gallon to help my 2 angelfish with their fin rot issues.

Well, the treatment is over and I've done several water changes and I have a new filter carbon pad in the filter and my water is STILL red. What else can I do? This is frustrating to me because I have a 20H tank set up and ready for them. I need to put the gravel from my 10 into this 20H but I do NOT want any red coloring in my new, pretty 20H. How long will it take for the red coloring to go away? And, I am moving my Penguin filter from the 10 to the 20...I hope the red color will not get into my 20 from the bio-wheel. *sigh* Help me please.

Add more carbon it sounds like the old carbon is used up, or give it another day and if it hasn't gone away by then definately add more carbon.
