I'Ll Kill U Dead!

Oh boy!!... Do I need some chilling!!!... On Sundays, I normally sleep in and wake up at leisure before my normal routines...(Watching "Benson".. The IT Crowd....Married with Children .. Sanford & son.... America's got talent)

At daybreak this morning I get a phonecall from my one & only pet shop in town and they want some Guppies... 100 Males & 100 Females....

Painstakingly, I select the best of the males & females I have in the garage... go outside to the ponds, catch several hundred and move them to the tanks where I can have a better view of them so that I can give them only the best quality and colours.....

Lo & Behold..... at 11h15 (they normally close at 13h00 on Sundays) I arrive at the Pet shop..... and they are closed... They had a quiet morning & just sumarrily decided to close shop for the day!!!!

No I ask you!!!!... is it justified for me to feel a little upset with them??

Yes I would be rather annoyed too who made this request? was it the manager of the store? do you have their own private number? if not I would request this next time so you can at least talk to them or better still they talk to you! have you been supplying them with fish for a while? either way it's not on that they asked you this and then closed early, they probably forgot if the request was made very early but yes as someone said earlier ask for a bit extra for your time and fuel that was wasted today when/if you do return with the fish.

I'd charge them extra. Since you took the time and trouble to select some of your best fish , packed them up and drove down there only to find they'd just decided on a whim to shut early ,without even bothering to make a quick call to tell you or even have the decency to just wait until you'd arrived so they could install the fish before closing. Yes, I'd definitely be annoyed with them and charge a bit more for your wasted time.

I would be very upset with that kind of treatment Ludwig. Don't they understand that you can't just show up with a big bag of fish, it takes preparation to do things right.

Now, in my rage, I've gone & made it worse for myself.... When I got back home, I went & released all the fish in one tank... (I normally keep males & females seperate in the garage tanks).

This means I'll now have to take time again & meticulisely remove all the females from the male tank at some available moment, & what makes it even worse... some of the females decided that it is time to deliver fry in their new environment, so I'll have to remove these as well!! Grrrrr!!!!

My wife calls me grumpy!!

I must admit that when I read the topic title I was wondering what kind of fish an i'Ll Kill U was and why it had died lol.

Feel sorry for your wasted time and effort but you dont want to upset your only pet shop with all those Guppies on your hands.

Ha!... Revenge is sweet..... They phoned again this afternoon saying they're desperate , so I said I'll be around in 20 minutes.... He! he!... I'll take it to them on Wednessday... If I'm not too busy.
