I talked to the manager of one chain store and was told that stocking dyed fish was not up to him. It seems that the franchise sent him an order list that included certain fish as mandatory for each store to order. Only then could they order a few individual species depending on the size of the store and the amount of fish they sold.

There must be a big profit on these poor fish.
