noticed there is an auction on a wellknown auction site that is stating that bettas are ok with community fish like guppies, danios and tetras, the person who is doing this will know its them so please stop ill advising to boost your sales b/c at the end of the day the health of the betta should come before anything not just to fill you paypal account, youve already posted on here about the way in which your bettas have come to have the hell ripped out of them and still you are advising people to do the same.

dont get me wrong, im not concerned at all about you being a rival seller and wish you all the best when you list your bettas in the correct manner but i cant stand back and see you put most of your bettas in a situation of a possible short life by saying what isnt the fact

sorry to sound harsh but the listing is beyond belief.

Sad how people will:

A: Be dishonest just to make a sale

or

B: Will do things without paying much attention to how they do it.

i totally agree some people rely on the sellers advise and assume its correct a seller should be well informed and give the fishes welfare 1st priority

Am I also to understand correctly that this seller is simply reselling pet store stock? -_-

It's easy to find out who it is if you just search ebayuk for "betta, guppys, danios and tetras"

This is really a shame.

Am I getting old or what just checked the 2 posts this person has on this site and we all basically told them not to put male and females into the same tank, also that fish like tetras/danios etc would shred the fish ??

Yet on the ebay advert he is stating that the betta's are kept in a community tank with the above fish and they are also offering their fish keeping advise.

If you can't take advise and learn by it then surely you shouldn't be giving it, it is merely perpetuating bad fish keeping

im not gunna shame them as things can be learnt from mistakes, im sure theyve prob seen this thread by now and is working on changing the listing, but if they dont change it i might just well change my mind on the matter.

these fish are fine to go into a community tank as long as there are no fin nippers, they will adapt to most water conditions, but they will prefer a lower range ph and a temp of 75-80.

they will get temperamentle over resting space, so do not overcrowd.

they will reach full finnage and colour at about 7 months of age.

thanks for looking

postage is via royal mail special delivery before 1 pm the following day.
