If fish have only a 20 second memory, how do they know that when you open the top of the tank and dump stuff in that it's feeding time?
Why would they be scared of loud noises or thumping on the tank, if they can't remember the last time it turned out to be dangerous?
Why are they scared of nets, if they can't remember anything trying to eat them?
It just doesn't work. I know that some fish have very good memories, because they can tell people at my house apart!
