What is this fish? Noticed it at my Lfs and would look great in one of my planted tank but it was unlabelled

Its a kuhli loach

Just to mention if you go for some Kuhli loaches you will need a group. They are social fish which need a group of at least 6 (more ideally if you have room) to feel more comfortable.

Best to have a sand substrate as well, they like to burrow....also, they are mainly nocturnal

I even find them resting on my java ferns mid-day belive it or not
