Identify Please

Ho folks. Please could someone identify these two fish?

These ones are very deep orange on the bottom and tail and yellow on top, there very pesky and constantly chase and nip the tails on of my Koi Angels.

Golden barbs..... not as much of a nuiscance as Tiger barbs, but less likely to be a nuiscance if kept in groups of more than 6.......

I think the top is a Rosy Barb not a Gold Barb. Also the second is an Oddessa Barb

Will they cause much trouble to my angels?

They will if kept in small numbers. Bigger shoals will make them feel safer and they will concentrate on keeping the pecking order in check within the shoal rather than bother other fish I think some1 else will know for definate but I think that's 1 way to calm them down

I had a rosy barb and it was a #29### in my community tank, the only thing it would annoy was my male krib! Not generally a gd choice to have with other peaceful fish imo!

Rosy barbs are a great choice with peaceful fish, if kept in the right numbers and given enough space . Barbs are notorious for lashing out at other fish when they feel insecure from being kept in too small numbers.

Depending on the size of your tank I would recommend either re-homing them, or buying 7 more of each to avoid aggression.

Keep in mind rosy barbs can get fairly large - nearly 6"!
