Sorry for my english. Im a Norwegian that have given up asking other Norwegians about this topic.
Can someone help me with what I belive is a spotted silver dollar. I have a group of 15 in total.
Those in silver i belive is Maculatus or Lippincottianus, but i can't find any pictures or information on those 6 that stick out with a stronger red colour and totally black eyes.
Is this another sp. or is it just the location of capture that are different?
I've got them shipped from Colombia all together.
Got a tips on Myloplus Rubripinnis, but can not find black eyes on them when i try to google it.
Would love to find out more information on them.
My pics where to big, but here is one.

to TFF! Hope you enjoy it here.

Are you just wanting to figure out what kind they are or get general care information for silver dollars?
I'd think they all require the same care regardless of what type but could easily be wrong.

I googled both the names you mentioned and neither seem to quite match up to me, the red lines on yours are much longer it seems..maybe it's because they're juveniles and most of google pics are adults? :/

Thanks Ninjouzata.

I want to figure out what kind it is

I have never seen those black eyed ones before I got mine.
They are about 6cm now.
When i google Spotted Silver Dollar Black eyed, an old forumthread show the same eyes in a video. But no answers. That is as close I get.

Other than that, there are no pictures or information to be found.

On this picture you can see my regular spotted ones better, and one of the black eyed to the right to compare.

I've seen these silver dollars just a couple of weeks ago. New aquarium fish in my country as well. Are these new in the hobby, in general? Or just reintroduced into the trade?

I believe they are a different species than just a type locality.

They did not answer, so if anyone know anything abot them I'm still very interested.
Could it be a cultivar?
