They just don't appeal to me really. They also get absolutely enormous don't they. I don't think the 48" x 18" footprint would be big enough for an adult.

Hi, there are loads of Cichlids that make ideal wet pets, as all have personality. An Oscar is the classic wet pet, but anything from the Amphilophus (Red Devils) and Parachromis (Jaguars, RTMs) genus are normally very owner responsive in an aggressive manner.

THanks. Decided on a chocolate cichlid in the end, which I bought today. All settled in nicely !
