I would really like some more of this type of fish that I got for Christmas, I even suggested to the person who gave it to me that they need to keep an eye out for the type that has mustard coloured and green coloured fins.

For all the none Aussies the pectrol fins are made from a $20 note and the tail is a $10. The colour variation that I did suggest would be $50 and $100 notes . Double tailed would also be appreciated .

Looks like I get to go some more fish for my tanks .

Hahahaha!!! Why don't you ask for a small shoal of them? You'll have to study the color genetics of those - see if a yellow (mustard) and a blue makes a green

I would ask for a shoal but am worried the person would then decide I need a gold one with very prominant scales , only then it could look like the fish has dropsy . A nifty little fish though, just have to wait for the Online fish place to get back to work after the holiday break and I will be ordering some stuff.

Dont you know these must be kept in large shoals over 10, 50 is usually best

Yeah, I usually like to keep mine in a little bit larger shoals though.

I had heard that if you look after the small ones the large ones will look after themselves , this one I would think is at least half grown and still tricky to raise to matuirity .
