Id Please

Anyone any suggestions as to an id for these guys?
Thought i had found it last night but cant remember now lol

nicaragua cichlid or rainbow cichlid female nics usualy have a blue sheen to the face and males have quite patterned fins which makes me think rainbows too but the black marking is right for nics. the rainbow cichlid markings are usually not as neat as these and are more rough looking compared to the smooth black line on the pics.

My guess is Aequidens Pallidus or Patrickii

It resembles rodoni abit but it looks like a nic to me

It was the Rondoni that i looked at on Google Images that stated it was a Patricki.

I dont think they are Aequidens the face seems wrong...

Could they be some kind of Krobia or Bujurquina? Where did you get them from AFG?

Thats mad wills cause when i bought them they were labeled krobia guianensis(wild) but they deffo aint them. I was going with aquidens as thats what lesley(Star4) thought they might be. So maybe they are some sort of krobia but i dont think they are guianensis.

I got the in maidenhead(ireland)

They are also extremely friendly cichlids

What kind of size are they? You really do get a hold of some wonderful fish!

Maybe... You could try contacting Heiko Bleher or Jeff Rapps to see if they can shed any light on them for you?

Im thinking about selling these lol.

Heiko bleher has his own section on the irish forum where he answers questions so i suppose ill try there. He is rarely on it though cause he always on expiditions... So jealous.

Its over 2hrs to any decent fish shop from where i live, i just get lucky sometimes with what they have
