I got this loach the weekend, looks really good and really happy with it . But i dont know what it is
Any ideas?

Try looking at the indian spiny loach, Lepidocephalus thermalis

It looks alot like both, but i don think it is either.

Hello westwood,
Have a look at this horseface loach, i know the face structure is completly different but the markings are a spitting image and lets not forget yours will only be juvenile.

The markings are very similar, but it can not be right, as mine have whiskers. Also there mouths aren't sucker mouths.

It's a washed out Chinese algae eater. Once it gets use to it's home the color should get darker. I'm 100% sure that's what it is.

The markings are spot on, but as meguro says cae's lack Barbels, and mine have normal mouths.
