Id Needed Fort Rehomed Fish

Recently adopted 2 goldfish that were kept in a small tank with NO filter -petshop sold former owner the whole setup a few months ago and told them they didn't need it. Goldies are now in big tank with my other rescued goldfish
There were also 2 small fish in the tank of unknown species. I ws told they were coldwater and possibly some kind of minnow?
They are about 1in/2cm long, silver with red dorsal fins and tails. Look like female endlers apart from red tails. All 3 are identical so I assume the same species
What are they?
They have been fed on goldfish flakes -is this the right diet?
What temp do they need? Can thye live with my docile paradise fish as I'm afriad the bigger goldfish will eat them?

They sound like White cloud mountain minnow

And will feed on flake or small cold water pellets but I believe they can be a bit nippy ( not 100% sure wether there nippy or not)

If so may nip your paradise fish

They are white cloud mountain minnows, not nippy as far as I know.

Very inquisitive, perform better in a shoal, may sometimes end up as a goldfish snack if the goldfish are ever fast enough!

Easy to breed too, and very, very hardy.

Thanks guys for quick ID. So should they be with 4in goldfish or paradise fish? What is the max temp for them?

I'd keep them with the goldfish personally...

I'd keep them with the paradise fish. If you've ever seen a fully grown goldfish, you'll soon realise they will become food for it. Goldfish get BIG!!

the ideal temp is around 18-20 degrees so will be fine with goldies apart from eventually being on the menu
