my little (big) blue boy, he's in my sig. i bet they're alot alike in how we got them, too, from what i've read.

Are they the same type? (Ignorance of Female Betta's showing here!) Are you going to breed them? They're so beautiful.

What are the creatures in the bottom of the photo'? The look like BB Gobies that spent a few too many hours on the rack :hyper:

i dont know how to tell what the females are that easily but i would think she is of the veiltailed variety...anyone can correct me if im wrong :) and yes i am thinking of breeding these two together but not for a little while (gotta collect some jars hehe)

the 'creatures' in the bottom photo are kuhli loaches :) theyre awesome little buggers. i have 7 of them

i have a question about the girl. she looks really nice in the pics etc but she still has stress lines and doesnt stop moving. i have never before seen such an energetic little thing. or anxious...one of the two :) is she just settling in??? never had a female go in and be so active

They're very cool, I gather they need a sand substrate? Might put sand in my new tank when I get it and get some, they're seriously cute. Damn, but I've been bitten by the fish bug badly!

There's heaps of pinned topics in the Betta forum on sexing and breeding etc, maybe you can find the answers to your questions in there :)
