I Need Some Ideas For A 30Gl

A while ago I bought this 30 gallon tank, and so far it's just kind of sat around collecting dust.

My other tanks are a 10 gallon housing 5 Tiger Barbs and a 5 Gallon housing a Betta.

I'm just looking for a brainstorm of ideas.

i would go for dwarf cichlids like acara, apistogramma,keyhole's, or a pair of kribensis and a shoal of rasbora
you could have a harem of cockatoo cichlids 1male and 2-3females

this kinda depends on the dimensions of the tank but this is my idea

2 angelfish
1 bolivian ram
1 dwarf gourami
6 white mountain cloud minnows (or some other schooling fish thats active and quick enough to avoid possible aggression)
5 bronze corys

just an idea..
you'd want to add the angelfish last to minimize the possibility of aggression.


another possible set up...

1 snakeskin gourami (i've been reading about them lately... they can get 6-8 inches and theyre supposed to be very peaceful. 30 gallons is said to be the minimum)
2 bolivian rams
2 kribensis
6 of some quick and active schooling fish
and maybe a snail just for the hell of it

that would look really nice. you'd need some nice coverage though to let the fish establish territory and what not.

I'd move the tigers into the 30 and pop their number up to at least six, a ten gallon is too small for them. Then stock around them.

yeah that sounds good then add a pair of dwarf cichlids now your giving me ideas

Thanks for all the ideas so far.

I had actually entertained the idea of moving the Tigers to the 30 gallon and then keeping the 10 for quarantining.

But I have also tossed the idea around for putting some Angelfish in. But I will definitely research the above.
