I actually managed to successfully spot one of my mollies with a very open vent etc, popped her in the hatchery last night and got up to lots of lovely fry!!! Have lost 3 so far but the others look to be doing amazingly well :)

Few months ago I had no idea what I was looking for but thanks to the forum advice etc I think I've grasped it!

Had to share - may be silly but I'm thrilled :)

Congratulations
I too have learned a lot from here, & am a better fish keeper for it

Congrats!!

I'm terrible at livebearers. I hope your little ones do well. :)

38 days since her last drop & I suspect one of my others is not far behind her, they both dropped within 2-3 days of each other last time!

Hoping my swordies will have fry soon too - very excited about these!

Congrats craftyfishlady. I found that my own female breeder dropped at 42 days but each one is its own rule as far as time between drops. The actual gestation is only 4 weeks but none of them start again right away.

Congratulations, it is an amazing feeling to finally feel like you are getting somewhere with the birthing process....
