I made $12 off duckweed. Yes I am not joking

A few years ago duckweed invaded my tank. I ended up posting it for sale on facebook market place. Someone was dumb enough to buy.........FOUR portions of it! I sell it at $3 per portion. I literally gave this person all my duckweed and actually GOT paid for it. Holy cow.

WOW! You should be grateful for that! I couldn't pay people to take my duckweed when I had it.

I've been there almost 2 years. And I'm able to do all of the jobs because of my age. When I started there I was getting paid 7.25. You are not alone

why not grow all sorts of plants and sell them on ebay. You can make lots of money selling aquarium plants.

Ive been tempted to fill a few old water tanks from work up with floating plants down at the bottom of the garden I must admit. Once I’ve retired it may be an idea.

Maybe they have a large pond or number of tanks they are trying to grow the plant in.

My rainbowfish would eat a 2 litre bucket load of duckweed every week, silver dollars do the same and some cichlids do too.
