Hi everybody!

I'm in the process of stripping down the 8g and moving the cherry barbs to the 36g, which has just been setup. The 36g has 1.86WPG, not too much light, but not too little either, CO2 injection, laterite mixed with gravel, root tabs. Similar to the 20g and the 8g.

FKNM's generous portion of HM (Hemianthus micranthemoides) arrived today, and I am at a loss as to how to plant it. Right now, it's floating in clumps in the 8g with a school of 30-40 crazy cherry barb fry, 2 adults, and one oto. There are a lot of stems. Is it like glosso? Not looking forward to the prospect of planting individual stems.

Thanks so much for any advice. And a big thanks FKNM, for your generosity (sp). Your anubias will be sent on Monday. :hey:

 Took me forever and a day, but I managed to organize the HM into little bunches. A few plant books I owned recommended that HM be planted in little bunches, so that's how I organized them. There's like 12 bunches right now, but I think I can thin that out a bit more and make smaller bunches now that I actually have bunches to work with. Hopefully it won't be too leggy on me. I also managed to save some very short stems and I'll grow those as floaters in both the 20g and the 36g.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

From my experience it's best to give this plant some space. Especially after it's travelled for a while, it'll be weak and the lower leaves will also need light. I'd try to give it as much room as possible, and plant it using tweezers 2-3 stems at a time.
