I'm curious about this too, since any disease you're trying to prevent by disinfecting the tank is also surely going to be passed along by the fish you're keeping in that tank? Confused

If you use the same filter and use the old media, you may not have to recycle. But if you put in new media and disinfected the housing, you may have to cycle the tank again.
